What a fantastic way to celebrate Black History Month at St Bega's!
Today, we were delighted to welcome Gina from Transformers Hartlepool to school, who led a series of engaging African drumming and storytelling workshops for our pupils.
Throughout the day, the children enjoyed taking part in interactive sessions, exploring the rich traditions of African cultures through rhythm, music and storytelling. The workshops provided a wonderful opportunity for pupils to learn in a creative and immersive way, while developing their understanding and appreciation of different cultures and traditions.
The energy and enthusiasm shown by the children made the sessions a great success, and it was wonderful to see everyone getting involved.
A huge thank you to Gina for delivering such an enriching and memorable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the workshops and are grateful for the opportunity to learn through music, culture and storytelling.
