Children in Early Years at St Bega's Catholic Primary School have enjoyed a fantastic start to the new school year, settling into their new environment with enthusiasm and curiosity.
Over the first few days, pupils have been busy exploring a range of exciting activities designed to support learning through play. One of the highlights has been the new veterinary role-play area, where children have been caring for poorly animals and using their imaginations to develop communication and social skills.
Alongside their role-play adventures, children have been painting, building, drawing and taking part in creative activities that encourage exploration, confidence and independence.
The start of term has also provided plenty of opportunities for pupils to make new friends and build positive relationships within their classroom community. It has been wonderful to see children engaging so well with one another and embracing new experiences with confidence.
Staff are incredibly proud of how well the children have settled and are looking forward to an exciting term filled with learning, discovery and fun at St Bega's.
